Buck – Adopted March 01

Buck was approx. 10 when he came into rescue. My father-in-law grew very attached to Buck so he found a home with the Hicks Family. He was a sweet old soul and proved to still have some “herding spunk” in him when one day saw a herd of sheep that has gotten out of a neighbors fence and wandered onto the property. Quietly he walked over and worked the sheep into a holding stall – just calmly looking at my father-law to make sure all was well. My father-in-law didn’t know how to give him direction so just watched and no direction was even needed! Good boy, Buck. Bucked passed over the bridge in 2005. He lived a wonderful “golden” life with my in-laws.
