Rest In Peace Shadow….
Shadow found a home with his wonderful family in Western WA but is now living in Hawaii after they retired! Lucky dog 
He is a obsessive fetcher and has plenty of beach and water to play with now.
January ‘09 – Shadow went to the rainbow bridge after just a short time after diagnosis of cancer. Our hearts ache for Shadow’s family but know that he is looking down on them smiling. He lived the very best life a dog could live and we are so grateful for that.
Shadow is doing great here in Hawaii. When we first got him, Brooke said he loved the snow. We experienced that up in Snoqualmie Pass. BUT, he also loves the warm ocean here.
There are few cattle dogs here and we get lots of inquiries about him.
Shadow loves to visit our next door neighbors and will go sit on their front porch if they happen to be visiting the mainland.
Shadow has also made great friends with another neighbor’s dog – Tony. Tony is a hound and the two of them together on walks is quite a sight.
Shadow dog is a great joy for us. Heeling Hearts ACD Rescue has a special place in our hearts.
