Lucy – Adopted Feb. ‘03

Lucy currently lives with her family aboard a sail boat on the Chesapeake. She makes lots of friends and delights everyone she meets with her happy personality. Lucy was given up to rescue because of the amount of energy and smarts she had that the previous owner was unaware of when getting her as a pup. She now enjoys lots of activity like Frisbee and the adventures of sailing with her family!
Lucy has just been the absolutely best dog I have ever had. She has such a fabulous personality and everyone who meets her falls in love with her. We’ve had people try and “adopt” her from us. We tell them that she already owns us and has her paws full already.
ACDs are the best dogs you can find. I recommend that have a lot of energy because They love to run and play.
