Echo – Adopted Aug. 03

Sweet Echo boy. Our first experience with a deaf dog. He was turned into an Idaho shelter for “not listening”. It was discovered he was deaf. Just a pup, he came to us and learned signs so quickly and was so willing and happy to finally communicate. Echo was with us for around 6 months so when the right applicant came along, it was very hard to see him go. He went to a wonderful home in Western WA and is loved and spoiled as much as I could of hoped for. He also has Libby (on this site) as a sister adopted June ‘04.

Echo LOVES the water…he would swim for hours and if there isn’t a lake nearby then he’ll settle for a kiddie-pool.
