Jack – Adopted Feb. 05

Jack lost his companion when she lost her battle with cancer. He was loved so much and her good friend helped Jack find his way into rescue. While in foster care it was discovered Jack was deaf. He went almost a year with no one knowing this about him. He was so responsive and eager to learn that his deafness was almost undetectable. He now has learned many hand signals to be able to communicate well with his family.
He was adopted by a wonderful couple in Oregon and not long after Jack entered their lives, another rescue dog “Lewis” was adopted as well. They are one big happy family now. (below) a picture of Jack and Lewis lounging under a shady tree at their home.
