Dora “the adorable” – Adopted Dec. 06
December 23rd, 2006 by Brooke

Dora was 1 of 3 dogs that lost their owner when he had to go to an assisted living home. She and the two others….one of them being her sister from the same litter, were living in their backyard for a year before being taken into rescue. Dora came to us in May ‘06 weighing an incredible 76 lbs.! She was adopted in Dec. ‘06 at a slim 55 lbs. Lots of walks and a modified feeding schedule, she dropped the weight and gained a bright and happy disposition with lots energy for long walks and belly rubs! We enjoyed this girl so much in the time she was with us. She showed us what a diamond in the rough truly is and boy is she a beauty (inside and out). She now lives in Western WA with her family that will provide her the very best in her “golden years”.
