Cassidy – Adopted June ‘07
May 29th, 2007 by Brooke
Cassidy is now an urban cowdog living in Seattle with her new family. She is able to go to work with her “mom” each day and has already a made a trip to the coffee shop where she made friends with the barrista who gave her a treat. I’m sure those trips are going to be a frequent adventure. Her new family says walking down the streets of Seattle is like walking the streets with a “rock star”….she is a beauty and always draws a crowd! Good girl, Cass.

Cassidy was a stray in Walla Walla and found her way to a family with a farm and a lot of things going on…too much to give Cassidy the right home. Cassidy is one the sweetest cowdoggies I have ever met. She is beautiful, athletic and eager to learn. She is currently learning basic obedience and does well with waiting for meals, going in and out of doorways, sit, down & she is crate trained. This would be an ideal dog for performance events such as agility, obedience or herding. She really has it all! Cassidy lives with our dogs and cats well. She is social and meets other dogs well but is a bold girl so she will need a strong leader who will continue to show her how to behave properly. She will need plenty of exercise and training so someone would is active and ready for an active dog is what we are looking for.

Update (October 2007) Cass enjoys time with her kitty. Cassidy is currently taking agility classes and is top her in class. We hope to see her out at trials in the future showing people what rescue dogs are capable of – way to go, Cassy!!
