Sara – Adopted March ‘08
February 2nd, 2008 by Brooke
(above) Sara with her family on “adoption day”. Sara is the queen of the castle but being taught lots of “doggie socialization” manners each day and also getting out and about on lots of hikes and walks.

Sara is approx. 2-3 years old and has a very sweet disposition. She came from a Spokane shelter where overcrowding is almost always a big problem. Sara is sweet and loving with a wonderful energy to learn. Sara LOVES everyone she meets and is very affectionate. She is crate trained & house broken. This is a medium energy ACD so a few walks and some weekend hikes would keep her happy. She does seem a bit too interested in cats at this point, so a cat free home is what we will be looking for.

Thanks for talking with me today. I really enjoyed viewing your webpage. I put your webpage on my favorite list!
Wow, Sara is beautiful and sounds like just the kind of dog I’m looking for. We live near two wonderful, large, parks and we enjoy walking in both of them often. I’d love to have a four legged companion to accompany me. Unfortunately, I have a cat. Not unfortunate for us, because we certainly love him, but it sounds as if Sara might be just “too interested” and I’m sure J.R. would not appreciate that.
Good luck Sara, your pal Haley is now living with my friend and colleague Loraine Steward here in Oregon and another “rescue buddy” Charlie comes for regular visits to our office with his “person” Virginia Brown. I’m definitely seeing the appeal of these wonderful dogs!! Maybe one of your future buddies will come to live and walk with us.
By the way, whatever happened to Lobo? He sure is a beautiful boy!!
