Sky – Adopted March ‘08

Sky has joined her familiy in Western WA – it couldn’t be a better life and we know that well because of the love they provided for Sadie http://heelingheartsacdrescue.org/?p=146 who passed away in November after a long and brave battle with cancer. They say that Sky has pretty big paws to fill because Sadie was a queen but I have a feeling that Sky possesses some queen qualities as well 
Sky is a 1-year old female who just arrived from a Spokane area shelter. She is sweet, a bit unsure of new things but highly intelligent and eager to learn. Sky is also deaf. Please read more about deaf dogs at www.deafdogs.org
My husband has seen Sky being walked in our neighborhood. She is a beauty. We are happy to see that Kathleen & her husband were ready to adopt another heeler from you. When Sky is ready, we look forward to introducing her to our 2 heelers, Tootsie & Foster.
