Sweet Chloe will be spending her golden years in Pullman with another ACD sis. We are so grateful for the love and care her foster home provided and the HUGE heart that her new home has

Chloe is a special girl looking for a special family who will give her a wonderful retirement home. She is blind but very much interested in walks, long sniffs and belly rubs. Once she knows her surroundings she gets along just fine and uses that nose! Chloe will make someone very happy and will be forever grateful for the love you can provide for her in her golden years.

Meet Cleo. Short for Cleopatra and named for her awesome Pharaoh-like eye markings. Miss Cleo is approx 6mos old and just a sweetheart! She loves to climb up in your lap and lavish you with puppy kisses. A VERY energetic and super intelligent little girl who would excel at agility, and seems to have a natural herding instinct. She is very willing to please, super quick to learn new rules and responds right away to a voice correction alone. In the house, she has “Toy ADD” and likes to drag every doggie toy out of the box and bounce from item to item. She loves to play ‘pounce and chase’ with the tennis balls and is learning to bring them back for a fun game of fetch. You sometimes have to remind her that soft, squeeky toys are not for chewing and shredding , but she is learning quickly. She is fabulous with other dogs and displays tons of puppy signals like crouching and muzzle licking, but sometimes can be a bit persistent in her want of attention from her playmates. She has impeccable crate manners and is about 90% potty trained. On leash she is learning to walk in heel position but will occasionally try to scoot in front of you if something spooks her. She can be a little shy and ‘crumply’ about new people (especially little kids) but with a kind word and a treat will willingly approach. With a bit more socialization she will grow up to be the confident young girl that I can see underneath.

Cleo now lives in Western WA with a wonderful family including a Cattle Dog brother “Bandit”. Her new family have plans on trying agility with Cleo – we think she’ll be terrific!

Newton is obviously not an ACD but what a fun little dog! He has learned sit and down quickly and now we are doing some foundation work in agility. Newton is 18 lbs. and stands about 15.5″ tall. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and crate trained. Please contact Brooke at cowdogs3@yahoo.com if Newton looks like he might be a fit for you. Newton is in Texas with us.

Zeke was adopted and now living in Canada with his new family – including 2 cowdog sisters.

Zeke is approx. 1 year old and full of potential. A striking little dog with boundless possibilities for great things. Zeke was bailed out of a Spokane shelter by one of our wonderful volunteers. He is shy in new situation but is currently attending an obedience class with his foster home and going on outings so that he can gain more confidence by being in positive situations with a positive leader. Zeke will excel with this continued socialization and experience. Please email cowdogs3@yahoo.com for more info on Zeke.

Eve was adopted by a family in Houston that we happened to meet at a herding function New Years Day. Eve will be a right hand companion as a stable dog and may try some therapy work in the future. We feel so lucky to have met this family and have Miss Eve be part of their lives now. They are even close enough for Sawyer to visit his very special friend

Our current foster dogs are not ACDs but we couldn’t turn them away when they showed up in our driveway. The shelter in this area is packed full and so we needed to keep them here but the fencing and kennels need help…also blankets, toys, ect. are in great need too. Please consider giving to help us help these and other dogs.

Eve and Newton are playful and so willing to please. Both are around 25 lbs. and approx. 10-12 months old. They will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to placement.
